Digital Receipts
FREEDOM's Alerting Centre offers retailers the opportunity to continue their relationship with the customer long after they have left the store. By providing comprehensive notification services the customer can receive information about events and activity through a variety of channels such as the web, email and mobile phone messages.
Examples of this are:
- Digital receipts. Rather than receive a paper receipt, customers can be electronically notified of the transaction details (or summary details) and can manage those transactions on-line through a secure web interface.
- Stored value, loyalty and gift cards. Card holders can be notified of transaction activity (such as when a relative has 'topped up' a gift account set up for a teenager's birthday). Similarly, this can be extended to allow the parents of card holders to monitor the status of the card and the transactions and to top it up remotely if necessary.
- Promotional activity. As part of the interaction with the customer, they can be notified of upcoming events and of targeted promotions.
