Clarity Announces Further Strengthening of Executive Team
- Clarity Commerce Solutions plc ("Clarity" or the "Company")
The Board announces that Ken Smith has been appointed to the new position of Group Managing Director with immediate effect. Graham York remains as CEO, and will focus on strategic development.
Ken has been CFO on a part time basis and a director since 26 June 2007 and has had a long association with Clarity, having been an early-stage investor and Non Executive Director.
Ken qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now Deloitte and Touche) in Glasgow, and was subsequently instrumental in the financial recovery of Alphameric plc where he was Group Finance Director from 1990 to 1995.
Ken will be responsible for the operation of the business and will take over all day to day responsibilities.
Founder Graham York remains a director and CEO of Clarity. The board believes that by freeing Graham from the need to run the business on a day to day basis and by playing to his well known strengths, he will be able to focus on a number of strategic opportunities aimed at enhancing shareholder value.
