John
O'Hara: Non-Executive Chairman
- John brings with him a wealth of experience relevant to CCS and its business
sector. John led the negotiations for Total Hospitality Solutions Limited
and Total Hospitality Solutions (UK) Limited, which were acquired
by Clarity on 22 May 2007. He has had over 20 years experience
across the technology sector in the UK, New Zealand and the US. During
that time he has founded, grown and successfully exited three technology
companies; one was sold privately, one listed in the US on NASDAQ and one
was publicly listed in New Zealand. In 2005 John released a book titled
Commercialising Innovation and he holds an honorary Master of Business Innovation
and Entrepreneurship degree.
Sir Colin Chandler: Non-Executive
Deputy Chairman
- Sir Colin joined easyJet plc in April 2002 and was appointed
Chairman in 2002. Until November 2004, he was Non-Executive Deputy Chairman
of Smiths Group plc, having been a Non-Executive Director of TI Group
since 1992. Sir Colin has been variously Managing Director, Chief Executive
and then Chairman of Vickers plc. Earlier in his career Sir Colin
was seconded from British Aerospace to the role of Head of Defence Export
Services, Ministry of Defence. He was Chairman of Racal Electronics plc.
He is Chairman of TI Automotive Limited, Chairman of Automotive Technik
Limited and Pro-Chancellor of Cranfield University. He was knighted in June 1988
for services to export.
Steve Bellamy: Non-Executive Director
- Stephen Gerard Bellamy spent 6 years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC)
in New Zealand and New York. He then moved to London in 1986 to
join Brierley Investments Ltd, (BIL), a strategic investment company, as
one of BIL's UK investment directors. Steve left BIL in 1993 and, in 1994,
joined Sherwood International Plc as CFO and became Group COO in 1999. Steve
was instrumental in the turn around of Sherwood, from a UK software group
with 13 different business units making losses of £2m on £26m
revenue and £3.5m debt, to a focused technology solutions supplier
to the global insurance industry and UK Government with £55m revenue, £8.5m
profit and over £20m net cash. Since leaving the board of Sherwood,
in 2001, Steve has had various non-executive roles as; chairman, non-executive
director and advisor of public and private technology and services companies
and to corporate capital providers (and, for 12 months, as an interim executive
of a Lloyd's underwriter). He has also been Chairman of the investment committee
of The First Close Technology Fund since 2000 and is currently non-executive
director of AIM listed Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc and a founding
partner of Accretion Capital LLP.

Ken
Smith: Chief Executive Officer
- Ken joined Clarity as CFO and a director on 26 June 2007 and
has had a long association with Clarity, having been an early-stage investor
and Non Executive Director. On 27 September 2007 Ken was made Group
Managing Director with responsibility for the day to day operation of the
business. On 23 December 2007 Ken took over the role of Chief Executive
Officer. Ken
is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Qualifying
with Deloittes in Glasgow he spent four years with the firm's Nairobi practice
as Senior Manager. Following his return to the UK in 1986, as Group Finance
Director of Alphameric plc,
he was instrumental in that company's turnaround and return to profitable
growth. Since leaving Alphameric in 1996, he has been part-time financial
director, or consultant, to a variety of companies in the IT sector,
with particular emphasis on fundraising and turnarounds. Ken was closely
involved in the acquisition of Cyntergy Services Limited, which Clarity acquired
in 2003.
